Clint S. Fish, MRFC (Master Registered Financial Consultant); Founder and President of First American Trust, First American Advisory, First American Properties, American Technology Solutions and Ironwood Investment Management. He holds series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 66 securities licenses, is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative, along with a Life/ Health and Property/ Casualty insurance licenses. Mr. Fish a graduate from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado and an MBA candidate at Strayer University.
With Clint’s 31 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry and his extraordinary vision and unique ability to create an environment that puts clients first, earning their trust, has been the driving force behind the success of First American Trust and Ironwood Investment Management. Mr. Fish holds the role of General Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Ironwood Investment Management.
He has served as local President, National Committeeman and State Trustee of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Past board member of the local Chamber of Commerce, Bloomington North Rotary Sergeant at Arms, Hoosier Hills Estate Planning Council, and the Leadership Bloomington/ Monroe County alumni association. Clint has taught children in Sunday School for 17 years at his church and attended numerous Children's Pastors conferences around the country.
He founded the endowment for the NYAKA AIDS Orphans School in Uganda, the foundation for the American Sport Jujitsu League, and manages several other endowments for other not-for-profits. Clint is a Hall of Fame Martial Artist, received distinction from the American Sport Jujitsu league for International Achievements. He was the Coach of the 2017 the United States Jujitsu Team for World Championships, Queensland, Australia. He is a partner and teacher at Ryukyu Kyusho Family Martial Arts. He currently holds the rank of 5th degree black belt in Castoldi Street Jujitsu, 4th degree black belt in Small Circle Jujitsu, and 3rd degree black belts in American Combat Jujitsu,, and the American Jujitsu League.
Mr. Fish has received numerous industry awards including GAMA International’s “National Management Award”, MDRT “Court of the Table”, is a graduate from NAIFA’s Leadership in Life Institute (LILI). In 2009 he received national recognition from Advisor Today magazine when he was awarded the “Four Under Forty” award. He has written for numerous industry publications and written and taught dozens of industry related continuing education courses.
Clint developed the Relative Risk Portfolio Theory; a comprehensive investment management system.
Clint has been married to his high school sweetheart for 35 years and is the father of two children. He and his wife have three grandchildren. Clint actively supports the NYAKA school in Uganda for AIDS Orphans, and the Crisis Pregnancy Center/ Hanna House, in Bloomington Indiana. He is a 13-year volunteer as a youth basketball coach. Clint is a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving three years in Athens, Greece and served in the Indiana Army National Guard during the Gulf War.
Clint’s vision and passion for this industry have helped him serve his clients. His willingness to help others achieve their goals is a testament to his love of his neighbor. One of his proudest moments was when a client presented him a statue of a star that was engraved, “Clint S. Fish, Worlds Greatest Financial Advisor!”
